U1.LP2: Government Power Systems


Objective: Students will be able to compare confederate, unitary, and federal forms of government and how each exercises power in order to analyze real-world government scenarios.

Homework: Homework for the 1B Mod is "Write a 5 sentence paragraph about how you are impacted by United States’ Federalism. That is, what impacts does the national government, Maryland state government and Prince George’s County local government have on your life?"

For all other mods, it is to COMPLETE THE SCENARIOS WORKSHEET that we worked on in class.

The Beginning of the Year

Welcome Hornets to the first few days of class. Class objectives, presentations, and the podcasts will not be posted until we start to dive into the core content of our classroom--Government. I will, however, make sure to post all policies and procedures so that you can be very knowledgeable of them as they guide us towards 80% every day and passing the HSA.
